    Artist, painter, teacher. A graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Design and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. A representative of Polish geometric abstraction. Related to the branch of the family of Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski

  • Eliza Kornelia Ptaszyńska

    Secretary to the Foundation’s Board of Directors

    Art historian. Curator of the Regional Museum in Suwałki. She specialises in 19th-century Polish painting, with a particular focus on works produced within the Munich art scene and, in particular, the paintings of Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski. She is the author of numerous exhibitions and publications.

  • Dobromiła Maria Rzyska-Laube

    Member of the Foundation’s Board

    Art historian, Doctor of Humanities. She works at the Museum of Noble Traditions in Waplewo. Great-granddaughter of Stefania Milewska (née Wierusz-Kowalska), sister of Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski.
