Participants at the 2nd World Congress of the Wierusz-Kowalski Families carried out a symbolic planting of an oak tree on the Boulevards along the Czarna Hańcza to commemorate Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski

On the morning of 5 October, participants at the 2nd World Congress of the Wierusz-Kowalski Families carried out a symbolic (it had already been professionally planted by gardeners) an oak tree commemorating Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski on the Boulevards along the Czarna Hańcza. There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a commemorative photograph and some light-hearted banter. City officials also took part in the planting of the oak.
