Tidying up Alfred’s grave

Maksymilian and Ksawery Święcicki, the great-great-great-grandnieces of Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski, have tidied up his grave in the Avenue of the Distinguished at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw. Wonderful. Well done to the lads. What’s most heartening is that the younger generation of the painter’s descendants remember him and are ready to take action.
