The creation of the website (temporarily)

Family tree

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski Foundation website is currently being updated. In fact, all pages require updates. I shall endeavour to do this as information becomes available. The Wierusz-Kowalski Family Tree requires the most work. There are currently 123 people listed in it.

It would be wonderful if we could complete the most important work and prepare the tree for printing in time for the next Wierusz-Kowalski Family Reunion. I would therefore ask you to review the tree in the ‘Family / Genealogy’ tab and send me any comments, corrections or additions to rwierusz@gmail.com.

In the case of missing individuals, please provide, where possible: first name and surname, date of birth, and, in the case of a deceased person, also the date of death.

I would be very grateful if you could send photographs of people who are already in the family tree, as well as those who should be added to it. I would also like to include members of the youngest generations of the family. A few such people are already featured on the website, but in their case too, I would like to obtain your consent for publication.

Thank you very much in advance for your help, cooperation and any materials you send.

Planned modifications / additions

The website was designed by LAVA SOFT SOFTWAREHOUSE https://lavasoft.com.pl/.Working with the company’s staff has been very effective, both in terms of technical solutions and the speed of delivery.

Work is currently underway to add an option to select English as the website language, a ‘search’ function, text formatting, improved resolution for attached photos, the ability to print the family tree, and the integration of analytics to track website traffic.

Contact with people registered on the website.

There is also the option to subscribe to the ‘Newsletter’. The planned service will enable us to send registered users on the website up-to-date information about the Foundation’s activities, such as announcements of exhibitions, family reunions and other important events.

The newsletter will also enable us to reach people who do not use Facebook regularly. Furthermore, it will allow us to convey more information in a more organised and clear format.
